Pierce Daily Announcements

April is National Poetry Month!  The Redford Twp District Library is  celebrating by hosting its 5th Annual Teen Poetry Night on Thursday, April 23rd at 7:00pm.  Teens are encouraged to read their own poetry or share poetry written by someone else.  As always, snacks will be served.  Registration is required.  Teens can register at the Youth Desk or by calling 313.531.5960 x105.

All students doing track, you need to make sure to turn in all of your paper work by Thursday April 9th to Ms. Mirto in 1D or you WILL NOT be able to run for Pierce.  Get that paper work in as soon as possible!!!!

ATTENTION ALL 7TH GRADERS GOING ON THE WASHINGTON, D.C. TRIP…..

IF YOU ARE TAKING ANY MEDICATION ON THE TRIP, IT MUST BE TURNED IN TO MRS. HARRIS IN ROOM 14D BY TODAY, FRIDAY, APRIL 3RD.  PLEASE MAKE SURE TO PUT YOUR NAME ON THE MEDICATION.

 Battle of the Books will be held April 7th for 7th grade, April 8th for 8th grade and April 9th for 6th grade during 2nd hour.  The last day to pass an Accelerated Reader test to qualify to participate in Battle of the Books is today, Friday April 3rd.
